About 

 The Senior Rainbow Assistance Program was founded in 2019 by group of Chicago women with a passion for working with seniors and contributing positively to society with a social work mindset.  Senior Rainbow’s founders had over 40 years experience in working in senior living and social work programming.

Our vision is to provide LGBTQ seniors with the support they need to remain safe, warm and healthy at a time of most need. Our mission to provide temporary financial assistance for LGBTQ seniors experiencing temporary hardships due to medical or financial concerns to ensure they can maintain their current living arrangements that safe, warm and healthy.

The Senior Rainbow Assistance Program's values are core to our everyday work for the our community and team members. Our values are the "Three C's", Compassion, Communication, and Commitment. The are defined as:

Senior Rainbow Assistance Program's Executive Leadership Team

​Jessica Jonckheere, President and CEO

Jessica is a founder of Senior Rainbow  and has dedicated her career to  working with seniors living in retirement communities across the Chicago area for the last 20 years. Specializing in the areas of memory care, wellness, and activities; she has worked on several fundraising events for benevolent care funds at these communities. Jessica leads Senior Rainbow's strategic direction and program development. She received a Masters degree from the University of Kentucky. 

​​Ashley Conti, Chief Marketing Officer

Ashley joined the Senior Rainbow team in 2020 and  has over 10 years of customer service experience where she has worked her way up the ladder by seeing a need and filling it. Her drive has led her to assist in creating her current position with a clear path for future upward mobility. She currently leads a committee where she is in charge of creating events and marketing campaigns to ensure employee engagement. With her skill set she will identify trends in order to serve our clients, as well as to inform donors and followers of our positive impact. She received her Bachelors Degree from Northeastern Illinois University.

​Jennifer Jonckheere, CFO/CTO

Jennifer is a founder of Senior Rainbow and is an Information Technology professional with over 20 years experience, spending the last 8 years in the financial technology sector. Jennifer currently leads Senior Rainbow's technology and financial areas. She holds the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner and received her Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University.
